A dragging long period of rain and cloudy days may be frustrating and distressful, but there are some things in the garden that would only appear after a good soak of rain, which are not usually possible to see in dry and fine days. I managed to catch a few shots.
First, lots of mushrooms!

Then there are blossoms that tend to occur after rain:

| We have no idea what this flower is. |
Whole plant from where the flower in the last photo is from. Once I wanted to get rid of this odd looking bush, but since it produces somewhat nice flowers, I have to think twice. Anyone know if if might be a weed?
The much loved mock-orange, always flowering after a wet period, as if celebrating the return of the sun!

Before we took ownership of the garden, the mock oranges were not kept trimmed very well. I have trimmed this one next to the patio, the biggest out of all, once. Hence, the hollow space in the middle of the tree revealed. New shoots are forming to make up the spaces. After a few trims it should look denser.
