Parsley reviving after series of rain

Around two weeks ago, I transplanted some parsley from their original pot to the front flower garden, hoping that they would grow lushly and form a little low edge like some attractive ones I have seen in photos. Well, the sun heating up to 40 degrees © did not help at all – all of them had severely burned leaves, and a couple even died away in a couple of days’ time.
There is always light at the end of the tunnel. After the cruel sun for three consecutive days, there came a week of rain! There was showers, storms, cool wind and dark cloud for several days in a row. The parsleys are getting complete peace for resting and re-growing. 
I have taken a few photographs to show the new leaf shoots on various plants. You can see the burnt leaves around the new shoot in each of them. If the weather continues to be mild for another few days, they will definitely pass their bottle neck to a whole new phase. Thank God for the rain! (btw, why did you send the sun in the first place?!)
